Quiet impressively we had over 12,000 visitors last month, 8,000 in June and May was a respectable 6,000. August 2006 we had just over 2,000 visitors, now this month so far we've had over 3,000.
And as always thanks for all the emails. We even received a press release for The Scourge Project which is really good to get. However the site is becoming like a pair of tight jeans, nowhere to put your wallet without severe alterations. Must really finish the TCY Markup language (TCYML) it'll make things alot more adaptive and less rigid.

06/06/2007 : Wow, is it 2007 already! To mark the occasion I have started the 2007 list. I know things are a bit stale site wise at the moment. Hopefully I'll get myself a laptop soon so I'll be able to work on TCY more often. Thanks to everyone stopping by the forum and sending feedback of encouragement! Did you know we had 6,000 vistis last month and we've had over 1,000 this month to date!

20/02/2007 : After a number of URL changes the Morrowind COOP mod appears to be dead. I've removed previous links but will keep it listed for the record. I know alot of people were interested in this mod, hopefully developers will come up with something similar in the future.

01/09/2006 : A landmark has just passed and I thought it appropriate to give you some understand of the sites activity over the last couple of months.

The landmark passed is that in August we had 2,096 visits!! In July we had 1,750, June there were 1,227 visits and May saw 982. Although I don't have the data for the ealier months it has been a healthy climb.

20% of all phrases refered to Morrowind, the next most popular game specific mention was Farcry with 8% and then Alien Vs Predator 2 with 4%. The vast majority of phrases were coop related e.g. great lan coop games. Here are some of the less common search engine phrases used to find us.

Thanks for everyone who sent feedback its great to hear from you and your opinions. Also thanks to all those developers who got back to me! I hope to have a more gaming update as soon as I remember to pick it up from the computer I wrote it on! :P

Regarding the site upgrade, I've been trying to build the site from scratch in ASP.net, its far more efficent than ASP. I was writing a comment system in ASP but kept getting an error. I tried the same in ASP.net and it worked fine. It appears its bug in ASP and requires some fiddling with permissions on the server. I got my host to check over the permissions. However I was still getting the same error so I decided to move onto ASP.net as originally intended. However I'm now getting some strange differences between my test server running code and the hosts server. Fret not, if it continues like this I will turn my attention to one of the ready made CMS' avaialble. At this point I wanting to get my teeth back into the content.

On a gaming note, I've recently got back into flight sims and bought myself the IL2 Complete Edition for 9.97  on Amazon. You get IL2, IL2 Forgotten Battles, Aces Expansion Pack, Pacific Fighters and I also beleive the Pe-2 addon. Excellent game, great coop and an excellent price!

14/07/2006 : Not really sure where the last six months has gone! Thanks to everyone for their emails and activity on the forum. Through out the past months I'd been working on the core back end to the next version of The Coop Years. However I have put it on hold for the time being as I haven't been updating this site as I'd planned. My new strategy is to work on developing this site which means I will be working on content at the same time. Hopefully this strategy will keep content fresh for our frequent visitors and new for our new ones, and maybe I'll be able to get a game in at somepoint! Owen
